About the Role

Roles & Responsibilities:
Research, develop, and write engaging recipes, articles, or blog posts for the Triage & Tacos series
Highlight themes such as quick meals for busy nurses, healing foods, meal prepping, kid-friendly recipes, and more
Collaborate with the social media and content team to ensure your work fits with current campaigns
Occasionally help brainstorm new content categories, seasonal recipe ideas, or nutrition tips
Ensure content is factual, relevant, and accessible to a wide audience (nurses, patients, families)
Credit sources properly and ensure originality of all written materials

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Passion for food, nutrition, and holistic health

  • Strong writing and editing skills (experience writing recipes, blogs, or health content is a plus)

  • Ability to write in a fun, approachable, and educational tone

  • Comfort with basic nutrition terminology and health-forward eating

  • Willingness to work collaboratively with our media and advocacy team

  • Must align with the values and mission of American Frontline Nurses

  • RN, LPN, or healthcare background is preferred but not required
