About the Role
American Frontline Nurses is seeking a courageous and skilled nurse to join our Dark Influence investigative initiative as a Nurse Writer. This critical volunteer position will focus on researching and writing exposés that shine a light on dangerous healthcare professionals, institutions, and systems that are compromising patient care and violating ethical standards. Writers must be comfortable using social media as a tool for advocacy, awareness, and content distribution.
Responsibilities:
Research and document incidents involving unethical or harmful practices by healthcare professionals or institutions.
Write well-sourced, engaging, and fact-based articles that expose medical negligence, corruption, coercion, or malpractice.
Use social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, Substack, etc.) effectively to share articles and engage with the public.
Collaborate with our advocacy and media teams to ensure content aligns with organizational goals and reaches the widest audience.
Monitor social media trends and emerging stories related to healthcare misconduct.
Ensure all content upholds legal and ethical standards, including respect for privacy and truthfulness.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed healthcare professional with a solid understanding of medical standards of care and ethics.
Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce compelling, investigative-style articles.
Proficient in using social media for professional or advocacy purposes, including post creation, audience engagement, and trend monitoring.
Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and public health policy.
Passion for medical freedom, justice, and patient advocacy.
Ability to handle sensitive topics with discretion and professionalism.
Experience in journalism, blogging, or content creation is a strong asset.
