American Frontline Nurses has launched Frontline Publications, a platform dedicated to tackling healthcare issues, social justice, and more through compelling, uncensored content—and we're looking for talented volunteer writers to join us!

At Frontline Publications, we believe in the power of stories to inspire change and build awareness. Our publications cover critical topics that mainstream outlets often shy away from. Whether you're shedding light on healthcare inequities or diving into the impact of disinformation, your voice can help us cut through the noise. Some of our featured publications include:

Over The Rainbow: Covering LGBTQ+ healthcare issues, debunking myths, fighting misinformation, and empowering the community with accurate, evidence-based insights.
Tales from the Bedside Blog: Real-life stories from healthcare professionals and patients, offering an inside look into the challenges and triumphs of caregiving.
The Remembrance Project: A living archive documenting personal stories of loss and resilience during the pandemic, shedding light on the human impact of these challenging times.
Dark Influence: A gripping account of how social media disinformation shaped the COVID-19 narrative and the ongoing fight to expose the truth.
What We’re Looking For:

Passionate writers who can create engaging, informative, and thought-provoking content.
Individuals committed to advocacy, truth-telling, and addressing pressing issues in healthcare and society.
Writers who can balance storytelling with evidence-based research.
Ability to collaborate with an editorial team and work within deadlines.
Responsibilities:

Research and write articles, blog posts, and personal stories for our featured publications.
Contribute to discussions on healthcare issues, social justice, and pandemic-related topics.
Work closely with editors to refine content and ensure it aligns with Frontline Publications’ uncensored mission.

Requirements


  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and compelling narratives.

  • Experience in writing for blogs, articles, or publications (professional or personal experience is welcome).

  • Ability to conduct thorough research and present evidence-based insights.

  • Passion for healthcare, social justice, and advocacy topics.

  • Familiarity with healthcare issues, particularly related to LGBTQ+ rights, the COVID-19 pandemic, or social justice, is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Collaborative mindset, open to feedback and revision.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.

  • Access to a computer and reliable internet connection.

  • Familiarity with word processing software (Google Docs, Microsoft Word, etc.).

  • Basic understanding of social media platforms (preferred but not required).

  • Willingness to dedicate time to writing on a flexible, project-based schedule.

  • Open to ongoing collaboration with the editorial team for feedback and revisions.

  • Ability to commit to at least one piece per month (flexible based on availability and project needs).
